Gary McQuade, Provide.Consulting's Client Engagement Director met with Kerry Hallard, CEO of GSA- Global Sourcing Association recently and this came through really strongly as a valid concern, during our discussion about the key features within their recently published 2022 Manifesto.

Working with Everest Research, GSA- Global Sourcing Association had predicted circa 5% annual growth, but the actual growth is astounding: 8-9% growth across business services and a whopping circa 20% growth in IT outsourcing. With such opportunity comes challenges and the biggest challenge many enterprises face is the war on talent; already serious concern is showing – GSA- Global Sourcing Association stated in their manifesto that recent research showed that “43% of enterprises say that they are not satisfied with their service providers’ readiness to start work’’. This is the perfect storm. Huge demand, but not enough available talent to meet it resulting in projects being delivered either below par, over time or over budget – and potentially all three. The pandemic has brought a whole new positivity towards greater collaboration as the business world recognised that partnering and sharing at times of crisis really did keep the wheels of industry turning. At provide consulting, we will continue to play our part in supporting GSA- Global Sourcing Association to drive the debate and modernise thinking. We will be heading off these challenges and empowering opportunities, by collaborating and partnering with services providers and end user enterprises throughout 2022, as our IT & Digital Transformation SOW (Statement of Work ) model and our ‘powered by provide consulting’ approach continue to create win – win delivery outcomes. So, how ready are you for 2022?
